Question: How do I find the sound settings in Windows 11?
Answer: As of this posting, Windows 11 is still fairly new, and people are still navigating and exploring the new Windows design. Setting up your audio devices with your computer can be fairly headache-free. However, there appears to be a change in the new Windows 11 OS that may act as a small speed bump. Below is the information for getting to the classic Windows sound settings.
- On desktop, select the search icon from the taskbar
- Type “mmsys.cpl” and select Control Panel Item
- The Sound window will open
This allows you to make your sound settings as we are used to with older OS generations. You may then follow the classic setup information that has been previously posted:
- How do I set up my Audio-Technica USB Microphone with my PC?
- Can I listen to my USB turntable through my PC speakers?
