Question: What are the differences between the ATH-S200BT and the ATH-S220BT headphones?
Answer: The updated version of our popular ATH-S200BT headphones is not only sleeker, lighter and more comfortable to wear, it also offers a host of new features. For the ATH-S220BT, headphone battery life has been extended from 40 to 60 hours and a new quick charge feature provides up to 3.5 hours of use on just a 10-minute charge (via USB-C connection). Multipoint pairing enables the listener to be paired to two Bluetooth devices at once for easy switching between them. This is convenient, for example, if you have two smartphones. While you are listening to music on one phone, you can answer a call that comes in on the other. A low latency mode reduces sound delay for improved synchronicity between audio and video for smooth streaming and gaming. The provided audio cable (with in-line microphone and controller) allows you to use the ATH-S220BT as ordinary portable wired headphones and play back music even if there is no built-in battery power remaining. Easy-touch buttons in the earcup provide intuitive control of volume, music/video playback, and calls, and give you access to Siri and Google Assistant. Google Fast Pair lets you quickly pair the headphones with an Android smartphone or other device. A voice guidance function provides helpful notifications, including power and pairing status, and remaining battery level.
