Question: What are the RF Venue D-Arc and 2-Channel Kits?

Answer: Audio-Technica U.S., Inc. has distributed RF Venue products for quite some time now. There are two new products that we are extremely excited about adding to our offering of RF accessories, the Diversity Architectural Antenna (D-ARC) and the 2-Channel Remote Antenna Kit.

The new Diversity Architectural Antenna by RF Venue is a high-performance antenna system for wireless microphones. Featuring a slim profile enclosure, the Diversity Architectural Antenna can be installed in any position on a wall or ceiling and can be painted to match any interior. Using a unique patent-pending dual-feed antenna design, both A and B diversity connections are provided, so there’s no need to install two separately spaced antennas, resulting in a more professional look that room designers and architects appreciate.

The Diversity Architectural Antenna installs in minutes, with a wall or ceiling-mounted rear plate that is pre-drilled with multiple mounting hole options. The rear plate connects to the front plate and is secured with the included mounting screws. Simply connect the two rear-mounted BNC terminated coaxial cables to your in-wall or in-ceiling coaxial cable run and the Diversity Architectural is ready for use. The operating frequency of the D-Arc is 470-698 MHz.

The new 2-Channel Remote Antenna Kit from RF Venue contains everything needed for smaller wireless microphone installations. The kit includes a pair of high-quality 1/2 wave antennas, designed for front-rack panel mounting using the included BNC pass-through connectors or, for remote mounting, the included bracket hardware. Six 2' coaxial cables are also included to connect antennas to the included two-way splitters and to any brand of wireless microphone receiver. The kits are available in three frequency bands: 470-530 MHz (2-CHANNEL KIT 470T530), 500-570 MHz (2-CHANNEL KIT 500T570) and 530-608 MHz (2-CHANNEL KIT 530T608).

Ideally suited for A/V media carts, classrooms, or corporate meeting spaces, the 2-Channel Remote Antenna kit improves wireless system performance by bringing receive antennas to the front of the rack or outside equipment closets for the best-quality signal.
