Question: What can you tell us about the new BP89x MicroSet® Headworn Microphones?
Answer: Delivering clear and accurate sound with an inconspicuous design, the ultra-lightweight BP892, BP893, and BP894 have been the headworn microphones of choice for theater applications, broadcast, lecturers, and houses of worship. With the release of our new BP89x versions of these microphones (BP892x, BP893x, BP894), which offer the same high-SPL performance and extended flat frequency response, we have added a few new features to enhance stability, comfort, and connectivity.
The new ear hooks of these microphones feature an ergonomic under-ear design with a flexible contoured loop that hooks securely behind either ear. These microphones also include an AT8464x dual-ear adapter kit that converts the MicroSet to a dual-ear-worn unit for maximum stability and comfort, as well as element covers, windscreens, a cable clip, and carrying case. These microphones are available in the standard black and in beige (identified by “-TH” at the end of the model number).
Engineered to withstand the rigors of daily use, the BP89x includes a detachable, field-replaceable cable with a robust connector at the earset and a variety of available output terminations, as listed below.

A-T Wireless: cable terminated with a locking 4-pin connector for use with Audio-Technica cW-style wireless body-pack transmitters
