The ultimate kick drum mic

The ultimate kick drum mic, Artist Elite AE2500 dual element microphone features both condenser and dynamic capsules in a perfect phase relationship, all in one housing. With a provided splitter cable, the separate elements can be control on different channels with their own 3 pin XLR connectors, allowing for a precise sound balance. The AE2500 is presented in a rugged durable casing, and is provided with a stand clamp offering shock protection, secure mounting and easy positioning. The AE2500 is equally at home on the road and in the studio.

The AE2500 combines a condenser and dynamic element in the same shell, positioned in a perfect phase relationship; practically unachievable with two separate microphones.

“Dynamic and condenser elements”

The dual elements combine to capture the whole sound of the kick drum. The dynamic element delivers the aggressive attack of the beater, while the condenser capsule captures the bass and tonalities of the shell.

“Complete control”

Both elements of the AE2500 have their own outputs, as well as the condenser element having an 80 HZ HPF switch and 10 dB pad, allowing the user to get a precise tailore sound.
