The life of a battery in an Audio Technica product is guaranteed for 500 charge cycles. One charge cycle is a period of use from fully charged, to fully discharged, and fully recharged again. After this the run-time of the battery will start to diminish. Audio Technica offers a replacement service should you wish to have a new battery installed to prolong your product’s life span.

As with all lithium batteries there are measures that can be taken to ensure you get the maximum life out of your battery.

Storing your product

• Try to avoid leaving batteries unused for extended periods of time.

• If your product is going to be left for an extended period of time ensure it has between 60-80% charge before storing.

• If stored, check the battery level periodically and charge when required.

• Never leave your battery completely discharged for any period of time. An over-discharged battery will cease to function and cannot be re-charged.

• Store the product at temperatures between 5 °C and 20 °C. Higher temperatures reduce the battery storage life.
