Operating special features on the ATH-SQ1TW Earbuds

If you own the ATH-SQ1TW truly wireless earbuds, you may have noticed that they offer special features such as Google Fast Pair, hear-through mode, and low latency mode. These features can be activated and deactivated by the control sensors on the earbuds themselves, and this article provides step-by-step instructions on how to operate these functions.

Pairing the ATH-SQ1TW with Google Fast Pair

Google Fast Pair utilises Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to locate nearby Bluetooth devices and aims to make Bluetooth pairing with Android devices quick and easy.

  • Remove both the headphones, L (left) and R (right), from the charging case and bring them close to the Android device. A notification will not appear on the Android device if only one headphone is removed.
